i, too was a chi hair straightener user, but after my second one burned out i told myself to start looking for a new one i came across the chi hair straightener and i absolutely lovee it
it works the SAME or even BETTER than the CHI. You can change the temperature and it heats up in a matter of seconds its great i recommend it to a person who is "if'y"

I don't know...I saw all the pictures online and read the reviews, which said this straightener was absolutely amazing. It might work well on strong, healthy hair, but my hair is curly and a bit frizzy/dry. It did nothing special for my hair and actually dried my hair out even more, even on the lowest heat setting. My hair started to break off, even though I used low heat and short exposure. Not sure why this straightener is so expensive??? It gave me the same results as my friend's cheap ceramic straightener. I would say that this straightener does an average job. I gave it 2 stars because I expected more for the high price.

bought the ghd hair to tame the waves in my thick shoulder length asian hair.note:my hair is not curly.I set the temp at high and i noticed my hair started to fry.the next time i set it in the medium range i dint smell frying hair but it took me 1hr 15 mins to straighten all my hair. secondly,the most annoying problem for me is the ghd hair though has high quality tourmaline ceramic plates the body that holds these plates are made of some cheap plastic and the edges adjacent to the plates is so rough that it is snagging and breaking my hair no matter which angle i try.

I had been using a much cheaper ghd hair and thought it was doing an okay job, but then I got the Sedu tourmaline/ceramic 1.5in flat iron and it's like I have a whole new head of hair. The texture of my hair is completely transformed - smooth, SILKY, and less flyaways. I just got my hair cut from very long to just below the shoulders and I was struggling with keeping the ends from flipping out. The Sedu gently curves my ends in and the style lasts ALL day - even in some humidity! I have curly hair naturally and it is VERY frizzy with a lot of flyaways. First I blowdry with a large round bristle brush and then use this product to flatten and smooth and curve the ends inward and it is PERFECT. I HAVE NEVER LOVED MY HAIR MORE!!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE WITH NATURALLY CURLY HAIR!
